Some of my all-time favorites are on this list (Tom Hanks tasting caviar in "Big" still makes me giggle...). To this list I would add "Roxanne," "A fish called Wanda," and "Best in Show." Also, some of the old Cary Grant movies, such as "Arsenic and old lace." And how about "Bringing up Baby"?
I would also add a couple of great British series: Fawlty Towers and Jeeves and Wooster. Okay, I will stop now.
Let us know how things go! And keep laughing!

Not necessarily favorites, but broadening the range:

Musicals:
A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum
Kiss Me Kate

Silent Movies:
e.g. Keaton: The General
Keystone Cops?

Some people like (and some hate):
- Mel Brooks
- Jackie Chan (if the movie's bad, you can watch the outtakes)
- Steve Martin (I can't stand, but he's supposed to be good for broad humor)

My all-time fave is The Adventures of Priscilla. It's 10-15 years old now. It's set in Australia, and it's not all funny, but the scene with the guys in the bus (Priscilla) crossing the arid Outback and the flaming gay dude riding on the roof of the bus with brightly colored very long scarves trailing out in the breeze is TOO funny. Also, their meeting with a group of Aboriginals. You have to watch all the way through the credits because there's something hilarious after that.
I hear the current It's Complicated" with Meryl Streep and Alec Baldwin also is hilarious if you want to go out for an evening.
