a picture

This is from two weekends ago, from a family visit to the pond near my parents' house. It is one of my favorite pictures of them together.

Max, I haven't seen you since about 1998 at your parents' house for Thanksgiving. Thank you for being so faithful to your mom's blog. It has been wonderful up to now to read it. The picture helped. I don't think it's the end of the road, either. She couldn't have that exact procedure, but she has stopped the tumor from growing, (stunned it). She is doing the best that she possibly can and that's what counts. With Love to all in your family, Adrienne--formerly A-muse

yes, this is not the end of the road. Another speed bump that Someone put there. And She'll get over and past it nicely, I'm sure.

Big hugs on this tough day. Here's to a speedy recovery.

Lucie, as you know, it's traditional in Sci Fi programs for the crew to always find a way to overcome every obstacle. As a good Sci Fi fan, you will of course emulate this example! If Luke Skywalker worried too much about statistics he never would have made that daring leap to escape from the imperial troopers. Even Baba Fett escaped from the Rankor. And so will you.

that is a beautiful photograph. you can just see the adoration in each of their eyes. it is so inspiring to see two people that have been through so much still so in love. thanks for sharing.
